4 c. thinly sliced apples
¼ c. orange juice
¾ c. all-purpose flour
1 c. white sugar
½ tsp. ground cinnamon
¼ tsp. ground nutmeg
1 pinch of salt
½ cup butter
Preheat oven to 375ºF and grease a 9” pie plate.
Mound sliced apples in plate and sprinkle with orange juice.
Mix flour, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Cut in butter and scatter over apples.
Bake 45 minutes.
