Ingredients
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
½ c. butter
1 c. shredded cheddar
2/3 c. milk
(optional: add garlic powder with flour)
- Preheat to 425°F and lightly grease baking sheet.
- Combine flour, salt, baking powder.
- Cut in butter with pastry cutter until coarse crumbs.
- Stir in cheese and milk.
- Turn out onto floured surface and pat into 1” thickness.
- Cut with 2” biscuit cutter.
- Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly brown.
optional: brush tops with 2 Tbs. melted butter after removing from oven.
